One More Step è un sito gratuito di domande assurde spiegate uno step alla volta. Non ti chiediamo di registrarti, non vendiamo dati e non usiamo cookie pubblicitari o di profilazione.

In breve: per giocare non ti chiediamo nulla. Il sito ricorda solo la lingua e l'audio, e solo sul tuo dispositivo. Le statistiche di visita sono anonime e senza cookie.

1. Chi è il titolare

Il titolare del trattamento è il gestore di One More Step. Per qualsiasi domanda sulla privacy puoi scrivere a onemorestep.info@gmail.com.

2. Quali dati trattiamo

Dati tecnici di navigazione. Il sito è ospitato da Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). Come ogni server, quando apri una pagina riceve dati tecnici come indirizzo IP, tipo di browser e orario della richiesta. Servono a far funzionare il sito e a proteggerlo da abusi.
Statistiche di visita. Usiamo Cloudflare Web Analytics per sapere quante persone visitano il sito, da quale Paese e da quale tipo di dispositivo. Non usa cookie, non ti identifica e non ti segue su altri siti: vediamo solo numeri aggregati.
Caratteri tipografici. I font del sito vengono caricati da Google Fonts. Per inviarli, i server di Google ricevono il tuo indirizzo IP.
Email. Se ci scrivi, usiamo il tuo indirizzo e il contenuto del messaggio solo per risponderti. Non li usiamo per newsletter e non li cediamo ad altri.

3. Cookie e memoria del browser

One More Step non usa cookie. Salva soltanto due preferenze nella memoria locale del tuo browser (localStorage): la lingua scelta e se l'audio è acceso o spento. Restano sul tuo dispositivo, non vengono inviate a nessuno e puoi cancellarle quando vuoi dalle impostazioni del browser.

Poiché usiamo solo strumenti tecnici e statistiche anonime senza cookie, non ti mostriamo un banner per il consenso. Se in futuro aggiungeremo strumenti che lo richiedono (per esempio pubblicità), te lo chiederemo prima.

4. Donazioni e link esterni

Il tasto «Offrimi un caffè» porta su Ko-fi. Il pagamento (PayPal o carta) avviene interamente lì: noi non vediamo né conserviamo i dati della tua carta o del tuo conto. Di solito riceviamo solo il nome che scegli di mostrare e l'eventuale messaggio.

Anche i link a Instagram, TikTok e YouTube aprono siti esterni. Ognuno di questi servizi ha la propria informativa sulla privacy, che ti invitiamo a leggere.

5. Perché e per quanto tempo

Trattiamo questi dati per il nostro legittimo interesse a far funzionare, proteggere e migliorare il sito, e per rispondere a chi ci scrive. Le statistiche restano in forma aggregata; le email le conserviamo solo per il tempo necessario a gestire la conversazione.

Alcuni fornitori (Cloudflare, Google) possono trattare dati anche fuori dall'Unione europea, con le garanzie previste dal GDPR.

6. I tuoi diritti

In base al Regolamento europeo 2016/679 (GDPR) puoi chiedere di accedere ai tuoi dati, correggerli, cancellarli, limitarne l'uso od opporti al trattamento. Basta scrivere a onemorestep.info@gmail.com. Se ritieni che i tuoi diritti non siano rispettati, puoi rivolgerti al Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

7. Note sui contenuti

Le simulazioni hanno uno scopo divulgativo e di intrattenimento. Le misure sono arrotondate e servono a dare l'ordine di grandezza giusto. Alcuni scenari, come il mondo in cui i dinosauri non si sono mai estinti, sono ipotesi inventate e non vanno presi come dati scientifici.

One More Step is a free site of absurd questions explained one step at a time. You don't need an account, we don't sell data and we don't use advertising or profiling cookies.

In short: playing asks nothing of you. The site only remembers your language and sound setting, and only on your device. Visit statistics are anonymous and cookie-free.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is the operator of One More Step. For any privacy question, write to onemorestep.info@gmail.com.

2. What data we process

Technical browsing data. The site is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). Like any server, when you open a page it receives technical data such as your IP address, browser type and time of the request. This keeps the site running and protects it from abuse.
Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to know how many people visit, from which country and on which kind of device. It uses no cookies, does not identify you and does not follow you across other sites: we only see aggregate numbers.
Fonts. The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. To deliver them, Google's servers receive your IP address.
Email. If you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply. We don't use them for newsletters and don't share them.

3. Cookies and browser storage

One More Step uses no cookies. It only saves two preferences in your browser's local storage (localStorage): your chosen language and whether sound is on or off. They stay on your device, are never sent anywhere, and you can clear them at any time from your browser settings.

Because we only use technical tools and cookie-free anonymous statistics, we don't show a consent banner. If we ever add tools that need consent (for example ads), we will ask you first.

4. Donations and external links

The "Buy me a coffee" button takes you to Ko-fi. Payment (PayPal or card) happens entirely there: we never see or store your card or account details. We usually only receive the name you choose to show and any message you leave.

Links to Instagram, TikTok and YouTube also open external sites. Each of these services has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read.

5. Why and for how long

We process this data based on our legitimate interest in running, protecting and improving the site, and to answer people who write to us. Statistics are kept only in aggregate form; emails are kept only as long as needed to handle the conversation.

Some providers (Cloudflare, Google) may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR.

6. Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its use or object to processing. Just write to onemorestep.info@gmail.com. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can complain to your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

7. About the content

The simulations are for education and entertainment. Measurements are rounded and are here to give the right order of magnitude. Some scenarios, such as the world where dinosaurs never went extinct, are invented and should not be taken as scientific data.
